We will be holding our equipment day at our PRACTICE FIELD this year (Hayden Rec Center Lower Field, Worthen Road, Lexington) on MONDAY, JULY 31st.
Our staff will be there from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm to collect paperwork and issue equipment to all players.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING PAYMENTS AND ALL COMPLETED FORMS INCLUDING APPLICATION, MEDICAL FORM, REPORT CARD AND PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT. A pdf file containing all of the forms can be found on the website at www.lbhpopwarner.com.
LBH Needs Your Help - Volunteer and Make a Difference
Hey Raiders Fans!
Preparations are underway for the 2017 LBH Football and Cheer season and we are excited that it is going to be the best year ever! To be truly awesome, we need your help with the many tasks LBH needs to accomplish to make our organization run smoothly. We are a 100% volunteer organization and need everyone’s help to succeed. There are many ways to help including taking on a board position or joining one of our committees.
We encourage new nominees to join our great family of volunteers where your thoughts and ideas will be received in a thankful and friendly environment. The commitment is very rewarding and by becoming more involved and making a difference, you can help ensure that LBH Football and Cheer will continue to be an amazing experience for our kids.
We currently have several key board positions vacant and we are looking for nominees for the following positions:
Secretary – Our Secretary is responsible for the administrative functions of the organization including communications to Board members, coaches, team moms and parents about important dates, meetings and deadlines. The position is responsible for scheduling board meetings and recording minutes of the meetings as well as other administrative tasks related to the regional and national Pop Warner policies. No experience is needed but nominees should have good computer and organizational skills and an ability to meet schedules.
Director of Concessions – Our LBH Grille has become the signature of our events and we are looking for a Director(s) of Concessions to help organize and run our concessions for the spring combine, scrimmages and four home games. We have invested in some excellent equipment over the past few years to continue our proud tradition of the best “Snack Shack” in the Middlesex League. Nominees do not need to have specific restaurant experience but should have a good knowledge of food preparation and service and the ability to plan and purchase inventory.
Director of Video – LBH Football will be upgrading our video capabilities this season with the addition of the HUDL video system. The HUDL system is a web based program which provides coaches and players access to game films, online playbooks and player highlight videos. However, to utilize these functions HUDL requires the game video to be recorded and uploaded into the system by the teams. To support this new initiative, LBH is seeking a Director(s) of Video to work with coaches and volunteers to video each game (home and away) and upload into the HUDL system. Nominees do not need any direct experience with HUDL but should have a knowledge of video recording, file transfers and a willingness to learn and become proficient in the HUDL system.
Director of Volunteers – Our organization is 100% volunteers and we need help constantly with various tasks from working concessions and field set up to organizing our game day raffles. We are seeking a Director of Volunteers who could set up and organize a “sign up genius” type of system to allow parents to sign up to volunteer for tasks throughout the season. Nominees should have experience with an online type of system or willingness to learn one and an ability to work with coaches and team moms to recruit volunteers.
Coaches – We are always interested in volunteers to help coach our teams. Our USA Football Training and Certification will provide new coaches with an excellent background in safety and “heads-up” football concepts and techniques. Assistant coaches are critical to provide specialized training and help manage practices and games. Coaching is also a great opportunity to spend time on the field with players providing them guidance and positive influence. Nominees do not need prior coaching experience but must be serious about the commitment and be reliable.
Committees – In addition to Board positions, we have committees established to work on several of our important events or areas of focus. These include committees to help organize and support Coaching, Registration, Hanscom Liaisons, Nutrition and Fitness, LBH Booth, Spring Combine, Home Game Days, Military Day, Banquet, Program and others. We are always looking for support for these groups to help make the events a success.

Congratulations to our 6 LBH players who were recognized for their academic excellence and named to the New England Region All American Scholar Program. Our Raiders will be recognized at the Regional Pop Warner All American Scholar Banquets on March 31st and April 1st at Gillette Stadium.
