Multiple volunteers are needed for every home game. There are many opportunities to help out the organization on game days. Volunteers are needed for the following:

50/50 Raffle
:

  • The 50/50 raffle is a simple way to raise funds for the program and allow one lucky winner to walk away with a little extra money at the end of the game.
  • 2 parents needed per game.
  • Fans are asked to purchase 10 tickets for $5.00 or 1 Ticket for $1.00.
  • The winner will receive 1/2 of of what is collected; the other half is donated to the program.
  • Both visitor and home team fans are allowed to participate.
  • The winning number is called out at 1/2 time.
  • The goal is to get everyone to participate.

 
Announcer/Score Board
:

 

  • Two volunteers are needed to run the score board and announce the game.
  • The official time is kept on the field by the referees.

 
Chains:

 

  • Three volunteers are needed to hold the chains.
  • This position will give you the best possible position to view the game.
  • If this position is not filled, the game cannot be played. 

 
Concessions:

 

  • The concessions stand is one of the major ways to help raise funds for the program.
  • All volunteers are asked to work a 1 1/2 hour shift.
  • All volunteers are expected to pay for their purchases.
  • It is best to volunteer to work the concession stand the game before or the game after your child's game.
  • No children are allowed in the concession area.
  • All sales will be handled by a board member only.


Play Count:

 

  • Each and every player is required to play a minimum amount of plays.
  • The play count for each player must be accounted for.

 
Field Set-Up:

 

  • Applicable for the first game only, which is typcially the E Team.
  • The set up of the field is very simple and only takes about 15 minutes.
  • It entails placing end zone markers and goal post pads on the field.

 
Field Clean Up:

 

  • Applicable for the last game only, which is typcially the A Team.
  • At end of the day, and it's a long day for most us, we would like to request a minimum of 2 parents (preferably more) to pick up the trash left around the field - both the Visitors and Home team sides.
